Two Sacraments of relationship working together

As a couple, what do we have to offer CEE?

We have time, energy and a love of our Church and of people.  Our greatest asset is that we fully believe that marriage is a VOCATION.

We believe:
-that marriage, as an institution, is the foundation of the family.
-that it is the cradle from which stems the rights and the wrongs of society.
-that our Catholic Church should be the missionaries and visionaries of this union by providing it the nourishment it so desperately needs and deserves.
- that CEE has, within its program, the best means to promote and teach the concepts necessary for a mutually enriching, productive and successful union of husband and wife.
-
We bring to CEE many past experiences in formulating and presenting programs for engaged couples, married couples, for families with young children and for our community of faith at large.  We have been involved in one form or other of marriage preparation since the first year of our marriage.  Our extensive involvement as team couple, with Worldwide Marriage Encounter, deepened our knowledge of each other, our marriage and our role as members of our Catholic faith.
We believe in each other and we believe in YOU.
Our Love, God’s Peace,
Catholic Engaged Encounter is a marriage preparation weekend which tries to
reach the heart and the mind of engaged couples so that they leave the
weekend excited about living a sacramental marriage.

I have personally seen that excitement and have come to share it with many
couples.  It comes from the heartfelt personal sharing which team couples
and priests publicly demonstrate.  I really get a sort of high by seeing
engaged couples, who for the first time get to see the eternal reasoning and
logic of the Catholic Faith, put before them ---not just in words--- but in
the examples of teams who live what they say.

Its' a turn on!  I leave weekends exhausted but floating on a cloud.

With couples who understand and want to live their sacrament, we CAN change
the world.
